Young workers bring lots of enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the workplace. However, their young age also means they are at greater risk of workplace injury than other workers.

Employers can keep young workers safe by creating a safe workplace culture, understanding the limitations of young workers, making sure tasks are age-appropriate and providing extra supervision and mentoring.

Check out our pdf fact sheets for more information and resources on keeping young workers safe.
